Summer 2023 Recap

Some highlights from this year includes:

  • A Focus on Health, Bacteria and Viruses.

  • 1 Day in Colon City, Panama.

  • Field Trip to Fort Lorenzo.

  • Presentation from Dr. Johnathan Miller of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

We implemented a Ventaja camp on the Georgia Southern Campus in June 2021! With a small group of students we brought many first generation students to the campus for a weeklong STEM program. In the end we received a National Award from Insight Into Diversity Magazine for 2021!

Hear from our past students

Our biggest impact is with our students and the value that we can add to students’ lives and their families. Our first summer camp took place in Panamá City, Panama in 2017. The students created this video as a “thank you” to the teacher volunteers.

Anti-Racism Accountability

The mission of Ventaja Educational Services is to promote access and education to underserved communities throughout the world. In doing so, we unequivocally stand against injustice in all form—racial, economic, and educational. The recent civil unrest in the United States, and abroad, has shown us that the threat to educational equality still looms heavily, and that we must work to promote access and inclusion for all members of our society. Our team, at Ventaja Educational Services, continues to provide quality educational services for all in need, regardless or race, color, gender, creed, sexual orientation, or ability.
